Sonoma Canopy Tours was nice enough to give the nonprofit I run (Real Options for City Kids) a discount so that we could bring a bunch of our high school participants. As a good Executive Director, I of course had to attend! That being said, that was one of the more memorable and exciting adventures we have taken our young people on. I'll have to admit I did have a few butterflies flapping their wings in my stomach as I was standing high above the ground on a crowded perch with 6 high schoolers and 3 adults. But, once you start zipping down the lines (for some routes, it is difficult to see the end platform as it is so far away), the adrenaline kicks and the fun begins. It was so nice to see lots of smiles on our participants' faces.
Life Time Memory!

“Life Time Memory” from Trip Advisor
A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I took my daughter and her fiancé on the canopy tour. It was an amazing experience. Although my wife was scared of heights, our guides continually reassured us of their expertise and all the safety elements built into the canopy tour. By time we got to the longest zip, she was totally at ease and able to enjoy our time in the trees. We were amazed at the variety of elements included in this canopy tour...from long zips, to the rope bridges, the awesome spiral staircase and then the rappel. WOW. When we got back down to the welcome tent, we had an incredible sense of accomplishment. The entire canopy tour team; from the greeting in the parking lot, to the ladies in the gift shop; and especially our guides, were incredibly friendly and funny. First class experience and I'd highly recommend this to all of our family and friends. Sonoma Canopy Tours is a "must do" activity in Sonoma County!

Great for an Anniversary Celebration!
- July 9, 2013
We loved our tour! My husband and I came for our first year wedding anniversary and it was such a great way to celebrate! We had never ziplined before and I think this was the perfect first time. James and Emma made us feel very safe, they explained everything really well and helped us laugh off the nerves. They were funny and fun to be with along the way. James is super knowledgeable about the Redwoods and it was fascinating learning stuff along the way. Afterwards on our drive through the redwoods we kept using the terms he taught us. Emma was the perfect person to help get us strapped in and coax us to leave the platform. She told us she is in nursing school and that makes total sense, she's so calm and reassuring. I really loved that there were several zips because it takes time to get a little more comfortable and I didn't want it to be over before I had a chance to enjoy it. When we planned the trip we saw that some places charged upwards of $60 for only one zip. $99 for several zips, plus a spiral staircase in a tree, plus a couple of foot bridges, plus all the safety aspects and the demonstration is well worth it, definitely well priced! We had an amazing time and cannot wait to do it again! Thanks!
